Vitamins A + B

Vitamin A is essential for healthy vision, eyes, skin and growth and protects against infection (antibody production). It is found in green and yellow vegetables (spinaches, cabbage, carrots), eggs, fish liver oils and organ meats (liver).

B vitamins are a group of six vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B6, B12 and Folic Acid), which are necessary for proper growth, a healthy metabolism and the development of the nervous system - as well as for food digestion.

B1- thiamine is good for cell oxidation (respiration), converting glucose to energy in the muscles and nerves. It helps with the appetite, carbohydrate metabolism and the growth and repair of tissue. It is found in fresh green vegetables, whole cereals grains, liver, potatoes, beans, brewers yeast and wheat germ.

B2- riboflavin aids healthy skin, hair, eyes, nails and liver cell growth and development. It converts proteins, fats and sugars to energy adrenal functions and is good for cell oxidation (respiration) - by transport of hydrogen in the respiratory chain. It is found in green leafy vegetables, peas, green beans, brewers yeast, wheat germ, eggs and organ meat.
