'Be angry, but do not sin'

Anger!

All anger, regardless of its cause, has the same effect on our lives. It upsets us, causing us to feel pressure, taking away the joy of life and causing more stress, and it is bad for our health. Don't hide anger - deal with it.

Counting to ten before you speak may stop you from doing some stupid, but the anger is still there, you just hid it! Eventually it will find a way to come out either in voice tone, body language, or attitudes. Then we say we have forgiven, but avoid and do not speak to the offender - because we're still angry.

Stop the circle of anger. Ephesians 4:26-27 tells us not to let the sun go down on our anger. Deal with the problem now; don't let another day, or week go by without stopping this circle of anger. Many times when we are angry, the offender feels ok, but it hurts us loads. Our joy is stolen by this situation.
