The following people all had many reasons why God could not use them.
: a failure of a preacher; a hundred and twenty years of experience but no converts.
: stutters and loses his temper.
: Got into trouble with the authorities and lied his way out.
: Would make a good music minister if he had better morals.
: A walking encyclopaedia of wisdom, but does not practise what he preaches.
: Prone to depression, folds under pressure.
: Divorced and re-married to a prostitute.
: Too emotional and negative; a real alarmist.
: A farmer better suited to picking figs and raising cattle.
: Say he’s a Baptist; lacks tact and dresses like a hippy.
: Bad tempered; denied Christ publicly.
: Not good media material; too long-winded.
: Has potential but much too young.
: Offends church members with his preaching, hangs out with questionable characters and upsets the committee with his pointed questions!
: Practical, cooperative, good with money, cares for the poor, well dressed.
Do you feel God can use you now?
‘The Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart”, 1 Samuel 16:7.
