Can I video ByFaith from the TV?
A New Resource For Every Cell Group
So you've been studying the book of Revelation and want a break from deep theological discussions, especially after a hard days
work! After considering the people in the group, you’ve realised that many are struggling with some of the basics
of Christian Discipleship – forgiveness, discerning God’s will and unity etc.
The ByFaith DVDs will give you twenty-five minutes of fast paced and engaging programming, after which you can
discuss the biblical thoughts of each episode. Can I video ByFaith from the TV?

Can I video ByFaith from the TV and show it in my cell/youth group or church?
Recorded videos from the TV are intended for personal home use and do not carry licences for public performances,
such as church meetings, youth groups, cell groups and Sunday school meetings etc. Churches are required to obtain an
appropriate copyright license to show videos etc. and in the UK 'The Church Video Licence' (cvle.com) gives churches a legal right
to view authorised videocassettes and DVDs. ByFaith is not covered by this license, because the ByFaith DVDs are
already licensed to be used in cell/youth groups and churches.
The series took over four years to produce and if you value this kind of tool and would like to see more like it, we
ask you to respect the need to use tools that have a license, like the ByFaith DVDs.
It is illegal to video the programme from the TV to view in church groups etc. and it reduces the ability of Christian
ministries to make new resources. Remember some churches spend more on flowers each week, than on resources for
their youth/cell groups!
Also, on the DVDs you can take advantage of all the bonus materials, scene selections and extended episodes.
